ORLANDO CHRIST COMMUNITY CHURCH

Christ Community Church is a self-governing congregation of Christians who have come together from many different religious backgrounds and walks of life to follow the way of Christ.

Christ Community Church is an interdenominational, ecumenical congregation. We are affiliated with the International Council of Community Churches. We embrace the basic beliefs most Christians hold in common, but honor the freedom of each individual to interpret Scripture and matters of faith as he or she is led by God’s spirit.

In our worship, Christian education, and programs of ministry we affirm that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that our authoritative written source is the Bible.

We seek to:

• Worship God as the Source, Guide, and Goal of all things;
  
• Proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ in word and deed;
  
• Grow together in the Holy Spirit;
  
• Love and care for one another;
  
• Provide instruction in the Bible and the Christian life;
  
• Be faithful stewards of spiritual gifts and material possessions;
  
• Minister and witness in Christ’s name within our local community;
  
• Prayerfully support the work of Christian missions throughout the world.

We receive members upon their affirmation of faith, or by transfer of membership from another church. We both honor and offer the traditional forms of Christian baptism. We observe the Lord’s Supper, or Holy Communion, with an open invitation for all worshipers to participate with us.
